Dans quelques semaines, Aqualibi Belgium fermera pour effectuer des travaux d'agrandissement et rénovation. Le parc aquatique wavrien inaugurera sa nouvelle zone de 673 m² pour les tout petits et sa nouvelle thématisation pour Pâques 2018. Un nouveau visuel de la nouvelle thématisation est visible aujourd'hui dans La Capitale:

Six Flags Great America a annoncé que son attraction King Chaos (un Top Spin Huss) fermera définitivement dimanche prochain. Elle laissera place à la nouveauté 2018 qui sera annoncée le 31 août.

Un incident a eu lieu lundi sur l'attraction aquatique L'Oxygénarium au Parc Astérix. Une embarcation s'est immobilisée dans une descente avant d'arriver dans le bassin de réception. Par conséquent il y a eu un embouteillage dans la descente. Plus de peur que de mal, mais 5 personnes ont quand même été blesséew d'après Le Parisien.

Par ailleurs, la montagne russe Typhoon, à Bobbejaanland, est fermée depuis une semaine. En effet, un incident a eu lieu mardi 16 août sur cette attraction construite par Gerstlauer, comme on peut le lire dans la presse belge. Un wagon ne s'est pas arrêté en gare et a tamponné, à faible vitesse, le wagon qui allait gravir le lift. Il y a 5 blessés légers. Le parc, le fabricant et l'organisme TÜV enquêtent pour comprendre ce qui s'est passé. Typhoon pourrait rouvrir le weekend prochain.
