From April 09. to June 22. Air Arabia is suspending Sharjah-Sarajevo flights. Even though Air Arabia planned to suspend flight during the month of Ramadan, this suspension is coming earlier than planned. Early flight suspension is due to fierce competitions from Flydubai, who is operating two daily and on some days three daily flights from Dubai main airport to Sarajevo. Air Arabia is in disadvantage to operate flights from Sharjah Airport, offering very little possibility for connecting flights. Emirates is selling Flydubai flights to connect on Emirates world wide network. During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Flydubai is also reducing flights to Sarajevo to two flights per week. From June 22nd both airlines will drastically increase flights to Sarajevo, operating daily. If bookings are exceeded Flydubai will add additional flights to Sarajevo.
